My wife sent this to me a couple of days ago. It’s a video from a very talented singer/songwriter, athlete and all round amazing person named Terry Kelly. It’s one of those videos that challenge your emotions, from anger to respect to sadness. The song is based on a true story that happened to Terry.

The giant known as Microsoft has finally released a new version of Internet Explorer, Version 7. It has some major improvements, many of which resemble the increasingly popular Firefox and Opera browsers (as well as many lesser known browsers).
However you would think that since MS has been constantly reminded about poor security issues, that a flaw that is well documented and over 6 months old would be “cured”. But alas, it is still in full bloom and not a pretty one either. Luckily, the other popular browsers do not succumb to this major leak of information so you can safely use these instead.

I have a special fondness for odd creatures. When I was young I sat in the library and leafed through books on Zoology and nature to find the most interesting animals. My favorites were the the Whale Shark, Komodo Dragon (which has representatives in my nearby Denver zoo now), Okapi (a REALLY odd mammal that looks like a practical joke, also at the zoo) and the duckbilled platypus (another practical joke of a beast but FASCINATING!).
